It is about as impossible as the first computers and programming languages and architectures seemed to people back in the 1920's - 1980's. Things change rapidly when a new technology comes out and there is usually a steep learning curve but we usually prevail due to our nature!

I don't know how old this video is. But someone has apparantly built a quantum computer. I'm not claiming that it's 100% confirmed but just saying what I saw. It was on a programme called "Horizon - Defeating the Hackers" by BBC.
