0:30 In 2010 they demonstrated a robotic laser cutting system. After 3 years or research they adapted it for handheld use - "just by adding a pistol grip"....

That there people, is innovation!

well, won't it be less risky to cut nuclear material with a robot from a safe console with an first-person-like interface/camera ?.
With nowadays technology, you could easily scan an object with a laser/camera, get a representation, place the cutting marks and let the robot do its job even safer and faster.

Oh no, a pistol grip. I guess here in NY that makes it an assault weapon. :|
