That's not luck. It's reflexes and experience that saved him. Watch closely; he slides off the instant the horse starts rearing. If anything, he got unlucky because his foot got caught in the horses' leg, or he wouldn't fall at all.

I can more than sympathise with the jockey. I reckon we would have identical bruises. Same thing happened to two of us a couple of days ago, you would reckon once bitten twice shy.
