iHologram
Not a 'true' Hologram per se, this is done by assuming a constant viewing angle (35-45 degrees), typical for when the device is placed on a tabletop. The 3d scene's perspective is then warped using anamorphic perspective, making the object appear to jump off the screen.

Comment number 9, you're horrible. How can this be fake? It's clearly exactly what the description says. comment 1 also posts a link for the application. Explain what is fake? the the fake iphone? the fake rendered 3d on the screen of the fake iphone? a fake application on the fake screen of the fake iphone? The only thing i could come up with in my mind, is that you perceive the object is not actually coming out of the screen. But if you payed attention to the description it tells you it only makes things appear that way, there's nothing fake about that. Unless you actually believed that cartoon was popping out of the screen and there's some kind of computer generated foolery going on. Pay attention sometimes people.

#(removed comment) it *is* fake: it's just a simulation of an app. Plus: anything on an iPhone gets my thumbs down.
