Wow, that's pretty cool! How do they do that? Seriously, I don't know! I've seen that sort of thing done at night but not in daylight because the light doesn't show up.

Most likely it's all computer made. Look at the name near the end, written high above the ground...
But I think a way to make it real is to have in each flashlight a LED emitting on a rare frequency and a detector attaced to the video-camera, and then merge the camera & the led detector images togheter on a computer.

it really would be awesome if those flashlights was real, it would take graffiti to a new level
the snowboarding parts reminded me of the SSX snowboarding games with the coloured trails you get from your guys hands when you used boost

My guess is that the film was shot in low light conditions, possibly on dusk, so that the led lights really burn into the film. Duplicate your film and run the top layer with a contrast/brightness increase to make the low-light look like day, then play with the bottom layer to isolate/create/enhance the light trail. Well, that's my guess as how it's done. If this wasn't how, I'd like to be corrected..?

it's all digitally done.... no burning it in film or low light condition...
Man they show how its done at the end ...they just burn something and then add color to the smoke coming from the burn wood...just watch and enjoy peace... ![]()
The effect was created in Adobe After Effects. it seems like they used plugin Trapcode Particular.. ![]()
