Pentium IIs were the go with servers, got a couple myself, run like a charm, just dont let any 'Homers' near them ![]()
Well considering that only 1 neuron can process 27,000 millions of calculations per second and we have 100,000 neurons in the brain and also considering that the fastest computer on earth can process 3,000 millions of calculations per second of total power is a well deserved Pentium II for Homer ![]()

#3 that is 270,000,000,000,000 calculations per second ( Approx) that the human brain can manage. Bill gates can only DREAM about what God can Create.........
#6 and what does Gates have to do with that? In case you didn´t know, Gates makes software, not hardware ![]()
Better Intel than AMD. AMD's been playing keep up for years...and the innovation and financing just isn't there. It'd be nice to get some better competition. But we'll just have to wait til they catch up.
This was one I found lurking round one of my backup drives from many years ago.
Glad you all liked it anyways ![]()
#3, a biological neuron works at ~100Hz, brain is powerfull because it is massively parallel.
I hope you don't have 100000 neurons in your brain (a fly does), human brain has between 10^11 and 10^15 neurons, with ~7000 connections for each neuron
That was the cultural minute of the day
# 13 U r right I forgot to mention 100,000 "millions" cause i was talking about that kind of quantities and i missed that word...
Peace
