folks, there is a concept behind european sport cars, most americans never get, with a european sports cars the chicks are included, in an US "sports" car (is there any which goes around corners ?) the filling station attendant is included. ![]()

#7 :-( sorry for my bad english *snief* *cry*
#(removed comment) yeah of course, such a beauty as the ZR1 is... if i like my cars 80' style, with a lot of noisy plastic in the inside, and an engine which is far away from its true potential.
In my opinion, Porches are overrated. My favorites are muscle cars. Long live American muscle cars!!! ![]()

#(removed comment) read what i wrote, i talked about the plastic on the inside.
you two both have a point. american muscle cars have had a longstanding reputation for cars with heavy engines and poor suspension. but the ZR1 and the tuned viper are surely an exception if nurburgring lap times are evidence enough. but this hardly changes the fact that most muscle out on the road today are still in their baby steps to match up to their european counterparts.. whatever these cars may be. we've made progress yes, but got some serious work left.
and this is a porsche ad after all. we've ALL gone off topic. let's just all be nice to each other ![]()

there is a huge number of porsches still driving the roads, around 60% of all that have been built. Imho thats speaks for good engineering.
Well, I think F1 and NASCAR are both boring, if anything, WRC has my vote.
@ #11
Juan Pablo Montoya failed to become the real title contender. When he was about to be replaced by another driver (due to contract issues) he switched to NASCAR.
And Jeff Gordon said himself that he loved the test drive but admitted that there was a huge difference in both series. Another reason was probably the nessacity to learn from the ground up. And lets face it, his best times are long gone. 38-something years is too old for F1.

There's also the real reason that 'it's 'cos he has a tiny penis', but I'm guessing that that got binned by Porche marketing people quite early on.
