i'm not buying vatican, no way! that place is haunted, big time.
and even if you send food to africa, the government troops will grab half and the rebels the other half, and the rest of the people who don't carry guns will starve like before.
sorry africa, you're screwed!

Is she blond under that black? because this lady doesnt realize weve been feeding those poor country's for years and the only thing it has brought them is dependency on that food, and thus on us to feed them. Give a man a fish and he'll eat it, give a man a fishing rod and he can get his own food. Though even that method is questionable atleast. The fact is, there really isnt a solution to the third world poverty and famine, atleast none that money can solve.
Then again this clip could be just sarcastic, hehe.
#5 you recited it wrong..the right version is
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day;
give him a freshly-charged Electric Eel and chances are he won't bother you for anything ever again.

#5 and #7, no no no, you're both wrong. It's "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat drinking beer for life."

Well we live in a Capitalist world that doesnt care about anything else but the Capital and if you wonder why theres no justice? That´s because the Goverment is limited by the amount of money or capital to invest in justice always... so there´s never gonna be justice in a system based in Capital, the Roman Law System which the all the modern Juystice is based around the world is was original not intended to bring justice, it was created by Roman Senators in orders to keep the people under control, to keep their Staus Quo (Social Position in the Power)... so as long as Justice is limited by money ur rights and justice too...same with all the things you think for granted...
A system like this is just for keep people under control like the Church did too in order to control the Faithfull people even killing the unfaithfulls...
We need to start solving our isssues one by one...how?
Well this will not happen until a 50 o 100 years i think, it will happen when we created automated robots in big scale but without IA (a been with interests diferent from yours and try to force them to make ur will is the same thing that can be describe as slavery), so just programed robots to create robots like them in Factories self sustained without interventio of man, their porpouse... to make food for everyone, so that could be only the first step in the Scale of Needs according to Maslow, then we can worry about place to live and other things getting them by working like we normally do but without so much stress because we can get fire and die or abuse mesures by Companies nowdays....in other countries different from North America if you get fired ur dead no Goverment ecomic support of any kind and the pay is so low that you can die if you don get a job in 2 months...
I love humanity and i really hope we can get a better future for Us...

Just sell the White House and all military bases instead... that also solves the arms problem in the world.

Guys, Sarah Silverman is being sarcastic. While she is a liberal Zionist, she is also poking fun at those who think world problems like hunger could actually be solved by spending billions of dollars. As #5 said she could be being sarcastic, well, she is being sarcastic. Her comedy is subtle, yet deep. She's poking fun at pretty much all human beings and our reactions as a whole. She's even making fun of Jews themselves by remarking that they would forgive the Catholic Church for turning a blind eye in Germany during the ethnic cleansing if they sold the Vatican. As if selling the Vatican can somehow equate to that on some karmic scorecard. So, relax, she's not blond, or stupid. Quite the opposite in fact. Cheers! ![]()

#2 has useful info, none has argued against it, please vote people down with information in addition to the thumb or not.

I read in a Nat. Geo article a few years back that to end world hunger/poverty/ect. it would cost 500 billion. Th US has spent over 930 billion since 01 in iraq and afghanistan. Not saying the US should be solely responsible for helping the wolrd, but hey if they can spread "democracy" for the past 8 years and it cost them 930 Billion why not half of that to save the planet?

The money "lost" in the Global Financial Crisis is many time enough to feed the world.
