Fireproof balloons

Quite interesting to see the balloon not bursting if it's partially filled with water. This is because the water will heat up, instead of the air in the balloon and the balloon itself.

Nothing new here. You can actually boil water in a plastic cup.

Until the water reaches 100c starts boiling and the rubber then absorbs the excess heat and your left with a nice splat all over you clothes !

#2 - extra amount of heat (energy) is needed to keep water boiling, so I should be sufficient till the water evaporates completely. As #1 wrote, you can have a 10cm tube with an ice on the bottom (kept down with some heavier stuff) and water boiling on the top.

I was doing that when I was a kid... I discovered it for myself :D I sooo miss my childhood... all day doin' crazy experiments and stuffu 8-)
