These kind of drivers should be stripped off their licenses and forbids to drive any kind/type of moving vehicles.

it amazes me how some people really need it to be close family to give a fuck and try to help...

My wife speaks chinese and found the news on Taiwanese Yahoo Site.
The guy didn't even have a driving lizense because he failed the tests 
. At the police station he denied everything til they pulled the video. The immediate cash fine is about 250 EUR for red light and no license ( plus the endangerment and the running off part ). He apparently started yelling at his mother why they aren't influential so she could just get him out...

In many Asian countries there is no value for human lives. One can jump a trial by paying a meager spot fine to the Cops. In India if one has money or influence he can drive rash on the road and endanger human lives or even kill someone and can still get away. India is highly corrupt and is in political turmoil but still it has not been listed in top 10 corrupt Countries in the World....strange.

Say what you want about America, we have our flaws, but you would NEVER see pedestrians AND an ambulance just ignore an accident scene like that.

the ambulance had its lights on, maybe they already had a critical person in the vehicle so they couldn't stop, they probably called in the accident

red lights are mounted on the firesquad crew, whilst police show both red and blue strobo, and ambulance only blue on rooftop, at least in europe.

Why are so mant eastern countries with so little regards for human life, so many videos where people will just drive past and leave others dead, natural selection at work, these will die out cus of their respect for others...

#13: Ambulances (and police cars for that matter) always have their warning lights on in Far East countries. There is no way to know if they actually are in a rush.
I hope the crazy driver goes to jail for what he did. Fleeing an accident scene is a very serious crime, at least here in Finland. Surely he'll have to pay large compensations for the victims too.

I know the driver was wrong but what about the other people on the road.
They just walked away.
