+1 1. 1v14k0 commented 11 years ago on video Cracking A Safe

See, people in the 40s knew birthdays and other personal information weren't safe passwords!
It is a very interesting subject and very mathematically challenging one, besides we learnt from this video how gullible people were to be 'socially engineered', as there are now - if not even more so!
There is a good article(pretty much non technical) for password cracking - http://arstechnica.com/security/2013/03/how-i-became-a-password-cracker/ and a bit more technical one - http://arstechnica.com/security/2012/08/passwords-under-assault/
Now do not go do bad stuff with all that knowledge.

Certainly he's got some skills but is it just me or the 'pockets' of table are way too wide?! I am not undermining his skills but some of those pots wouldn't have worked on 'normal' pool table...

MITnews article -> http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2012/amplifying-invisible-video-0622.html
I presume http://people.csail.mit.edu/celiu/motionmag/motionmag.html is the preamable research that dates back to 2005, but for the research described in this video check -> http://people.csail.mit.edu/mrub/vidmag/ and as said the code is freely availabe, though you have to use Matlab if you want to make best use of it, and keep in mind it's under non-commercial research purposes only license.

TRIPLE HEADSHOT! He certainly still got the skills but what really showed that for me was his facial expressions. There are a couple of close-ups when he is taking an aim where you can see the skills and focus of a sniper in his eyes. Like they said, "Once a sniper, always a sniper".

#5 you are correct but we shouldn't undermine the efforts of the people involved drinking enough beer to get all that caps.

It's a brilliant innovation especially for people less fortunate or with some impairments but then again there are some serious implications of those ``modifications``, after all like everything else it's up to us to choose how to use this technology.

Yes, it's a commercial and like all commercials they use human emotions to some extend, but being made by Google probably means that it's based on the number and topics of the searches that are made in the past year...well #4, except those.
