Nice, doubtful about the authenticity of this video thou the perceptual human reaction speed is about top 0,1 second and a Paintball bullet velocity is aprox. 9,1 m (30 feet) per sec.
To cut the bullet just "like that" as in this video, the bullet will travel about 9,1 m (30 feet) before it's perceptual discovered by the samurai, it will then take at least another 0,1 sec go get a trajectory of the bullet, by then the bullet have traveled 18,2 m (60 feet).
Summary the samuari got the trajectory after 0,2 sec and can now cut the bullet, the fastest possible time when the samurai can make the cut is then after 0,3 seconds, because then he have the trajectory and we assume (extreamly fast) it takes 0,1 sec to draw the sword. The bullet will travel 27,3 m (90 feet) before the cut is done and it doesn't look like they have such distance between the shooter and the samurai.
