Thats not really a fair comparison. Tesla invented machines and even concepts, Edison was a business man hiring engineers and researchers who were asked to sign papers that would automatically credit Edison with the discovery.

Tesla might be over hyped by the internet, but there's a reason for it. For me, I find it just a shame that back in high school I was taught about Edison in history class but not about Tesla, so I consider it justice.

Don't believe what they teach you in school. Especially in 'they' are murderous imperialists. :)

stop kissing Tesla's ass so much!

he was a great man who invented so many things but he was not a god as he is being portrayed in recent clips. His death ray and that wireless electricity tower were day-dreams that did and still do not work, probably they were works of hiss departure from sanity in his later years...

In regards to Tesla vs Edison, Tesla was only interested in the pure art of tinkering and inventing; Edison, even if not as brilliant, cared for the commercial implementation, a more "grounded" man shall we say :)

I do admire Tesla more!

#4 I see Edison as a typical capitalist, not caring about anyone or anything except his profit. Tesla was the complete opposite. I read a little about Tesla. He seemed very naive, almost a bit childish. That helped him to be a great inventor but also caused others to take advantage of him.

Never liked the "Edison screw" light bulb.
