A set of rules for driving in Russia, Ukraine etc.
1) When buying a new car, take a crowbar to the windscreen to save time, and to let it blend in with all the other cars.
2) If a car stops in front of you, best action is to run into the back of it, as swerving round it will always result in a collision that you won't be expecting.
3) If the choice is run into the back of another car or (Option b) run into a pedestrian waiting for a bus, go with the first option.
4) If there is snow on the ground (as lets face it there usually is) GO FECKING SLOW AS YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO STOP, STEER,OR AVOID THE OTHER IDIOTS, YOU IDIOT!!)
5) Never, Ever, Ever, Ever, EVER! get on a motorbike or bicycle in these countries. Life expectation is around 27 minutes (on a Sunday)
6) This is the most important rule of all:- When using a camera to record the twenty or thirty accidents that you are going to be either directly involved in or at least witness to per day, Make sure the microphone is working as Countries that know how to drive properly only get around 50% of the enjoyment watching the accidents when there is no sound.

Do they not have optometrists in Russia?
Or a driving test?
I know that this is a pick of the accidents, so the millions of safe accident-free miles with decent drivers don't appear, but seriously, most of these accidents were not only avoidable with a bit of common sense but anyone awake could see them coming seconds in advance, plenty of time at least to try to avoid crashing, and yet on they go, pedal to the metal, until it's too late... duh...
