Vendors do that also for the convenience of the customer. Instead of bring the glass bottle, just put it in a plastic with a straw, when you're done drinking, you just throw it away. It's that simple.

In the Philippines, that is called "Balisong" which is very popular in the province of Batangas. And anyone can buy it.

Fact: If you are caught possessing this weapon, you have no chance of reasoning your ass out of it because there are only two main purposes of this knife:

1. Using this weapon for hold-up/robbery.
2. To stab/kill someone.
