#2 The ac comes on automatically when you put on your defroster but even thats not good enough for alot of cars. I have to have the defroster on(ac too) and crack a window to keep my windows fog free. But thats not good enough to remove the moisture in the rug, the seats, the trunk, etc. This removes it over an extended length of time so that the air inside the car is drier than the air outside. :D

I'm pretty sure it won't work, but I'm gonna try anyways. 8-)

What about the smell?
Do I have to wash the socks?
Or cat litter will get rid of it?

I guess that litter must be replaced at intervals (when it can't absorb any more moisture). Is that interval measured in days (boo) or weeks/months (yay)?

You can always do away with half-assed cat litter and buy a "Torrbollen". Its the shiznit: http://www.seasea.se/UserFiles/Byggplast%20och%20Batprylar/estore.byggplast-batprylar.se/ArticleImages/Article/500px/9518_3.jpg

It's a big dessicant bag. This trick is also helpful in the summer, it absorbs the humidity and keeps it a little cooler in your car.

Could I just turn on the defroster? :P
