Many military/police/security training programs require trainees to be taisered/maced prior to being able to carry said weaponry. It allows them to respect their weapons and know how someone is going to react when they get hit with the business end.

#3 as a Law Enforcement Officer, you get tased to show you how it feels. It's supposed to make you think twice about just tasing anybody (pregnant women, 12 year old girls, etc.)
I wonder why they don't do that with real guns...

wtf is with the "taser, taser, taser!" It IS their (and by them i mean.. um.. guys that use tasers) little song that they always shout out before tasing someone.. Check out the police overreaction video a couple of weeks back.. same thing

#8 im not sure but i assume its supposed to inform their associates that the taser is being fired. thats just a guess.

Imagine being on the receiving end of one of those things and as an indicator to the upcoming pain is some guys enthusiastic rant:'taser! taser! taser!'
