Actually, I agree, the "board in the nuts" is old hat, but the "run over by an elephant" seems to be a new development in the genre. 8-)

he's actually a good (guy) reporter. Normally reporters continue their piece even when somebody is dying next to them, this guy made sure the kid's alright.

That skinny kid knocked that fat guy right over - and was smiling about it. The kid said he was alright and looked like he wanted to get back to skateboarding. Why is it that whenever a young guy gets a little cut or something the adults in the area start trying to treat him like he's some kind of a little wuss or something? That kid is not a wuss, and that should be respected.
