#4 His talent has developed. This video was made years ago. Now he is a teenager and is touring the world and jamming with the best.
But even from when he was a small kid he was said that he interprets song as an adult. He has youtube account where he has tons of videos and it is great to see how his skills have developed over the years.

The band-aid on his thumb must have been a string cut from practice. It shows that he worked hard and now he had reaped the right skills for it.

i have a fender acoustic sitting beside me here with no idea how to play it. i see this kid destroying it and it makes me feel useless.

#15 you have no excuse. Playing guitar is like any skill, if you practice you will get better. Start today and you could easily be at a skill level to perform this in a year. That goes for anyone.
And yea I could play this.
