Looks like I'm the only one who thinks the realism isn't so... 'real'. ![]()
The problem with these games is you cannot do stuff they haven't thought of. The technology is amazing but old arcade games just give more satisfaction because you don't feel constrained by the precomputed choices. It's about who creates the story, you or the game developers.
wow it's like making a movie...
would have anyone 10 years ago believed that it is possible today....i doubt it....
One thing to remember is that a long while back there was a video on here about just this , the more real a face / character looks the less we are attracted to it , And to be totally honest what ever about ps3/xbox there graphics suck ...im sick of having to buy another 300-400 euro graphics card to play games that look almost the same as the did a year ago but now have way more realism,
The only thing thats real is my wallet is empty and the gameplay still sucks after paying 50 quid for a game , if they worked half as hard on the actual game as they do the graphics it would be great.
#8 i agree. that is exactly what uncanny valley is about. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_valley
