This is a good thing in nature- a predatory animal might mistake this for some larger, potentially more dangerous creature rather than a few small bugs. A scary, moving rug-thing might have a dangerous appetite.

After some extensive study I did with these larvae... If you ever want to kill them all take some speakers to them and play this song:

Rebecca Black - Friday

They will all all roll up into a ball and start to foam and die....
