The step at the dairy case doesn't seem like a very good idea for the elderly! The point is to remove steps, not add more!
The magnifying glass on the trolley is a great idea, even for younger shoppers but not for the supermarkets in the UK. They don't want you to see the package contents getting smaller while the prices go up!
Based on the fact that this store is located in Berlin, Germany, I'm surprised how many elderly people are capable of speaking English so nicely.
For example: "I'm retired, but not tired." ![]()
By the way, #2, don't underestimate our fellow senior citizens. Many are way more fit than someone would suspect, both physically and mentally. Besides, the aim of the step is reasonably described in the clip. ![]()
#5 Berlin has been an 'international city' since the end of World War 2, in two of the occupied zones, in old west Berlin, spoke English quite regularly.

if you read between lines then you understand that "prices got larger and packageing got smaller"
Lovely idea (for the capitalist who now has every old person in berlin in his/her shop ) But to say "in a decade will be over 50" what so over 50 means your old now.
Nice at least some one is trying to make the life of Old aged pensioners a little easy.
What a great idea. Think of your parents...they gonna need this and will be happy that a supermarket offers more than meets their expectations.
