wow, this is very impressive... I also love learning languages, but 11 languages at 20 is just incredibly amazing!! He also seems to be quite fluent in all of them !

The description is a little bit weird :P

It sounded like Alex Rawlings won the contest that wanted to find the most multilingual person, not that Alex Rawlings WAS the most multilingual person :P

Wow, he seems very fluent in all of them, even if this text is rehearsed. I rarely find the right words without pausing to think! Respect.

I only know Dutch, English, German and Spanish. think he can get a good translator job. His Dutch and German seem almost free of dialect.

Jokes on him, in a few years we will all have perfect universal translators on our phones. It's like the genius astrophysicists working at Burger King.

He has a natural talent for it as he has also mastered all the accents almost spot on !

#8 I'm Irish and I learned Dutch (lived there 9 years) but he still pronounced the "CD" with an English C not the Dutch one :P

@9 oh yeah ?! and when the translator battery dies, how are you going to ask for an outlet then ??!!
maybe you should learn sign language (actual words, mind you...!!)
but then again, when you play online games you only need about 100 words....
looks like the joke is already on you

#24 i speak Slovenian perfectly, but for foreigners it's true that this is one of the most difficult languages to learn.

I think it requires a certain mindset to learn that much, and to really be fluent in them. Just keeping French & Spanish separate is hard enough for me, inspiring this is.
