Oh dear. And Yanks wonder why the world stereotypes them as dumb, gun-toting, brain-dead morons.

Just curious about one thing, those magazines will one take over when the other one is empty automatically or is that just for the looks?
Why not just have a drum-magazine or whatever they're called. Would probably reduce the weight a lot and make the rifle even easier to handle.

#14. OK. OK Einstein. I think we figured out that the vid is a gun shop stunt.
But here's the scary thing. There are gun shops like this one all over the USA, and who do you think they're selling their guns to?

#17 They are not selling them to gangsters for sure. I am not a big gun lover but I think people do have a right to own a weapon for self defense. In my country you must go through a lot of paperwork and testing to get a license to own a gun. In USA it is a lot easier, perhaps too easy, but still I see nothing wrong with gun shops like this. In USA particularly, because their government is going bananas.

#19 18 year olds in Arizona are not the ones letting guns transfer to Mexican drug cartels, that is illegal; it is Obama's Justice Dept and his ATF that has been secretly supplying them for the last three years. See "Fast and Furious" in the news.
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/timstanley/100166854/the-fast-and-furious-scandal-is-turning-into-president-obamas-watergate/
Hundreds of Mexican citizens have been murdered with those weapons by the drug gangs and Obama never let the Mexican government know about the operation.

#22. sux2bu You are simply not correct re 18 year olds or the ATF. It is fully legal in AZ for anyone over the age of 18 to purchase long barreled weapons like ak-47s, as many as they legally want (stores can set daily limits) and then to 'resell' them, literally in the parking lot if they so chose 5 minutes later. Mexican cartel members were using these lax laws and straw purchasers to buy guns they could not legally get in Mexico. The ATF, was NOT supplying weapons as you incorrectly suggest, but rather they were foolishly allowing monitored straw purchases to go ahead, under surveillance, with the idea of tracking the weapons on the other side. It was a shit plan and it failed miserably - both US and Mexican nationals tragically died, but the ATF never secretly supplied any weapons. Get your facts right.

@ 24 The CNN Fortune article is bs.....nothing but liberal misinformation to try covering obamas
involvement during the congressional investigation of gun walking. The link at 22 jives with every
other news report out there and testimony from ATF agents involved. The ATF had no plan to track the guns THEY let walk.
It is not legal to knowingly sell weapons to Mexican drug cartel members.
AK47's in full auto are not sold to the general public without special license.

# 26. So you would prefer to reply upon aggregated links (i.e. #22) with the same misinformation and ideological bent versus a proper 6 month long investigative piece of journalism, properly sourced and documented, that interviewed 6 agents in the programme etc and had access to documents etc. Ok. And since when is Fortune magazine a liberal outlet? Seriously? Fortune? 1) The ATF not having a plan for the guns gone walkabout is a far cry for #22’s claim that the ATF supplied the weapons. 2) Of course it is illegal to sell directly to cartels or non US citizens for that matter. No one has made that claim. The claim was that local go between Americans bought the weapons. 3) Full auto ak-47s? Again, no one ever made that claim. This was a bad plan, started under Bush, carried forward by Obama that failed on every level. Full stop. Has nothing to do with banning guns or repealing the right to bear arms but an incompetent US agency and a massive fail.

#27 "Full auto ak-47s? Again, no one ever made that claim." Yea , YOU did @ #24.
"It is fully legal in AZ for anyone over the age of 18 to purchase long barreled weapons like ak-47s". The AK-47 IS a select-fire weapon with full-auto fire mode.
You said "This was a bad plan, started under Bush",no, Bush's plan was called Wide Receiver and it ended in 2007 (two years before Obama's plan) when it was deemed a failure. In Bush's plan the guns had RFID chips implanted in them and they were actively tracked and gun traffickers were arrested, unlike the ATF plan where there was NO tracking. And Bush's operation, Wide Receiver, did not result in the death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent or an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer and hundreds of Mexicans..... Fast and Furious did. Gun-walking is what happened in Fast and Furious, where ATF agents ALLOWED to be sold thousands of guns without a reliable way to track or recover them, apparently just hoping for the best.
Plus, under Bush, the Mexican government was kept fully informed of the operation, whereas under Obama they were not told of the operation.
Stay in N.Korea where a lie is a truth. You seem to like that.

The rifle is impractical for any use other then selling accessories. The contribution that USA makes to the drug cartel is not weapons, but customers for their products, who are in part responsible for the cartel problems in Mexico.
The ATF's Fast and Furious program was planed by the ignorant, executed by the stupid and resulted in mayhem. I would be more worried about the larger caliber weapons such as 300, 338 and 50 cal sniper rifles then hand guns and smaller caliber rifles. With training a person can reach out and touch someone at a miles distance.
Most cartel weapons are AK 47 from other countries, however, the ATF people involvd should be held criminally responsible for the death of the Border Patrol Agent and Holder is up his arse in it.

@31,You buy an ak47 that is NOT selective fire. In fact, the overwhelming majority of AK47s sold in this country are semi-auto only.

@26 You're full of pooh, you do not NOT need a special license to own a weapon with a select fire or full auto sear/trigger group. All you need is a 200 dollar NFA tax stamp for certain types of weapons, including: full autos, silenced weapons, and short barrel shotguns or rifles (those with barrel lengths less than 16"

"Blaming guns for killing people is like blaming spoons for Rosie O'Donnell being fat."
#30. I don't know who Rosie O'Donnell is, but I'm willing to bet that she never took her spoon and used it to go out and inflict 'fatness' on any innocent bystanders.

Plus, as a bone for the Am tea baggers who hate pesky ‘facts’ and ‘accuracy’ lets all also agree that the F&F programme was also a secret Obama plan to attack American’s 2nd amend right to own weapons. The cunning plan was to create havoc with gun violence on the border with Mexico, use public outcry and horror as rationale to start legislation against guns in the US. This was ACTUALLY a sneak attack on all gun owners. A plan so secret and deep that no evidence has ever been found , no legislation ever proposed etc, but in Am right wing bagger world the new mantra is ‘absence of evidence IS evidence’. The more evidence you DONT find the deeper and bigger and more legitimate the conspiracy. Genius…

#33 The semi-auto versions of the AK-47 are only AK STYLE VARIENTS of the actual AK-47 or Kalash. I have two of them myself ; an Egyptian Maadi ARM and a Norinco MAK-90,but they are not considered 'the real thing'. Many non-Americans hear about AK's being sold to the public in the US and imagine full-auto types are everywhere when they are only AK clones in semi-auto, not much different from a typical hunting rifle and not as powerful as most deer guns.
There is more to getting full auto than just paying for the $200.00 tax stamp.Extensive criminal background checks are performed and you give up some of your personal privacy since the weapon must be registered with the ATF. It isn't worth it to me. Plus firing full auto is EXPENSIVE. The Ingram MAC-10 I once had would go thru 50 rounds of .45 cal. in under two seconds. Too rich for my blood.

#33 I did not say you need a special license, as in a piece of PAPER; I said you need special license, which means permission to do something. Then you can pay the tax, get the stamp and buy the weapon.
