If everyone did this we'd have very little crime or terrorism!

i wish i could see his face... he must be very scared.
but if everyone did this there would be more unnecessary deaths. a thief, most of the time just wants the cash, phone, etc. but when you threaten him, he is more likely to kill.

if every one would have a job, (something to eat) and the respect that a human should have.. there wouldn't be any crime or terrorism..

is all about balance.. that is stronger than human... ...is more a nature thing..

The civilians disarmed and immobilized him, rendering him virtually helpless, expecting the inevitable outcome... and the trigger happy morons came one by one pointing guns at a detained man and the civilians detaining him... I'm wondering if, somehow, owning a brain makes you unsuitable, inapt for law enforcement work..

#13 He was a security guard on a gas station. To fight 3 armed robbers at once was a bad move. He was shot and died on the place.

last time a bystander did something in bucharest, was stabbed in the heart. he was 16, and defending his friend and died right after. it happened a few days ago.
the question is: would you REALLY take that chance, when finding yourself in that situation, or you are heroes behind the screens?

#15 Shit happens..but ask that question to yourself...when a friend or family member is getting robbed or something..would you try to do something or would you tell your friend "this can end badly..i wont help you"

I always love the people that go "Ohh..you might get shot..bla bla" ..i want to see you when your brother/sister/friend get attacked..do you also go "Noo..cant help..it might be dangerous"? Firefighters run into flaming houses to see if they can help. I dont think any of you would think much in such situation.

you`re asking me about my brother? we`re talking about intervening for a pedestrian, by taking risks while you are afraid or/and ashame to sit apart. and that is the sad truth about most people who applaude this vid. firefighters are a special category and they are born brave and trained to be more brave. sadly, my guess is that we are just bystanders (otherwise we would be firefighters, wouldn`t we).

#8 - if you thought for a second about every life threatening situation a police officer goes into, you'd realize why they do what they do.
But hey, it's not your life so it's ok, right? they're just stupid cops.
