#2 Warren(red) tried to brake late for the corner to gain the inside line, suffered brake lock, and essentially failed. In the process 'fishtailing' Lance(blue).

Blue car did not check his mirror to see if he was being closely pursued and took a wide approach into the turn instead of protecting the inside line. That gave the red car an opening to pass on the inside but blue car shut the door on him.
Very mild crash as crashes go, glad everyone was ok and still friends.

Craig Lowndes got rear ended by Warren Luff because " he planted his foot on the brake and nothing happened".
Lowndes helped Luff out of the car. Beats me why the commentator said the car landed on the drivers side, cos it landed on the passenger side.
