Cool teacher! I want to see that demonstration: 1 = 2

This would have made me like learning in high school if my math teacher was this cool. Even though you can see him behind the desk it's still wicked!

The demonstration for 1=2 is more a trick, a "faulty" demonstration. It goes like this:
Let a=b .
We multiply by a and we have a^2=a*b .
Then we add a^2 and we have a^2+a^2=a^2+a*b .
Now we subtract 2*a*b and we have 2*a^2-2*a*b=a^2+a*b-2*a*b .
Which can be written as 2*(a^2-a*b)=a^2-a*b .
Now we divide by (a^2-a*b) and we have 2=1 .

The problem is that a^2-a*b is 0 in this example, so 1*0=2*0.
Note that a^2 means a squared.
