Well really it all depends on at what point she started to help her. If she helped her in the beginning of the race all the way until the end, yeah thats dumb. In saying that we only saw the last eighteen seconds of this race, she could have been in the lead and the woman helped her at the very end. Either way it makes sense to help her in my opinion, but the deed has been done, then giving her 1st place is going to far. she deserved a good well done 2nd place.

The blond girl had already won an earlier race, but on a longer race she was bringing up the rear when she saw another runner having problems just short of the finish line,so she helped out.These are high school kids from Ohio.
