Even the chinese videos are fake. I mean come on, no adult man would let himself dragged by hand like a dog on a leash like that. All reactions seem fake or overly exaggerated. Just look at that kid at 3:01 calmly traversing the glass while just behind him a grown man crawls in all four.

Sacha Baron Cohen is a master troll but these guys were easy targets. To make everything valid, now he needs to go and try the same thing in a muslim town, just switch the mosque with a christian cathedral. :D

Last time they tried, one of the rocket blew midway and killed the pilot. Not really a tried and tested technology although I wish them good luck. Anyone trying to make his way to the space these days is a hero in my book, considering how space exploration has stagnated.

In short, he can't make us laugh anymore because of politically correct busybodies. We know in what world we live when politics bans humor.

0 8. Paperman commented 6 years ago on video John Cleese Interview - about PC and societies w sensitives

This is just a small fragment from the interview. John Cleese gives a proper example where its okay to say jokes and make fun about english, irish, scotish or about the white people in general but it becomes suddenly offensive if he tries to make a joke about mexicans, demonstrating a double standard elevated to the rank of dominion by the politically correct people. I see it nowadays more than any time and, as someone who lived in a dictatorship, its scares the living shit out of me.

Interesting what some people would call "modest". Modest, like you know, 50 acres of forested land, with a pool quarry and a nice, big, two stories house in the middle of it all. Real modest like.

+3 11. Paperman commented 6 years ago on video Why knights fought snails in medieval art

The link to the Lombards its nice but the snail representing time makes more sense. Even the mightiest warriors fall before the rampage of time. Thus all the "about to be defeated knights" kneeling before the snails and trying to fight them.

+4 12. Paperman commented 6 years ago on video Incredible dishonest cutting & editing of Jordan Petersons Vice interview

@oleHashow - the man is a professor in psychology and takes a very special approach to belief and religion. I'm not a religious person myself but I have to respect that his approach to religion and support of certain values projected through the lenses of symbolism and psychological thinking is well worth listening him and understanding his perspective. Maybe you should listen to some of his analysis of theological and mythological subjects, that might enlighten you why people reacted negatively to your very generalizing and arrogant statement.

0 15. Paperman commented 6 years ago on video Child Prodigy is a Self-Made Millionaire from Selling Her Incredible Paintings SuperHuman: Geniuses

I know I'm late commenting on the video.
Is she a talented artist? Definitely yes.
Is she a genius? No, she isn't.
What gives me the right to say this? About 17 years as a freelance illustrator.

Now, regarding the subjects of her paintings. I understand nowadays is quite trendy to be an Atheist and thats okay.
But ask yourself this: have you ever visited a gallery with classical work? Did you enjoyed it?
Most classical work is religious in nature. Not necessarily Christian religion (although a lot of the Renaissance is just that) but also ancient religions and mythology. Art has been always been related to religion, in a very big part. She is no different and, if she's successful she deserves her praise as an artist.
Most of the time is better to let the art speak for instead of garnishing it with personal beliefs and philosophies. If the subject is well chosen and masterful executed enough, the viewer will appreciate it.

+1 16. Paperman commented 6 years ago on video Inside the Quest to Make Lab Grown Meat

How much you want to bet none of the people in this video has ever grew neither an animal or a garden, not to mention killed his own food?
And yes, humans generally will eat any crap that gives them a chance at survival. But while you can grow fake meat in a lab, do you know how it will interact with the human body and its function? How will the human body metabolize this bacterial meat and what are the long therm effects?
Personally I wouldn't touch that stuff with a long pole. Not because its grown in a lab, just because you don't know anything about its interaction with the human body.

+1 21. Paperman commented 6 years ago on video Future Fire Truck Concept - Great Animation

From what I know in most countries, when an automobile hears a siren, its mandatory by law to reduce speed and pull to the right (maybe left on England and other countries that drive that way :P).
While the concept is cool, I don't know how practical it is. The drone firefighter delivery also looks nice but I don't know how viable its also, given the weight constraint of the motors.
Overall a nice idea but not a good concept.

+2 22. Paperman commented 6 years ago on video Unissued Nº26 - H G Wells On How To Restore Prosperity

I don't say capitalism is perfect - far from it.
But I'm from Romania and during communism, we had all those things here that H.G. Wells thought can fix things. And while all people where employed (quite forcefully in some cases because having a job was mandatory) and had enough money, we had hardly anything to buy because for one, the system was so corrupt it was eating itself by aggrandizing all its accomplishments and thus exporting most goods leaving its citizen in need and second, we didn't import much and what was imported usually got to the people in power first, to their relatives and friends second and then, whatever little scraps remained, was given to the population, scraps that were infinitesimally less than needed.
Add to that the political policing and you have one of the worst societies you want to live in.

So I can say for sure, speaking from the future of H.G Wells, that he was not a visionary and what he propose risks to ruin a country, not save it.

And to be fair to him, the company and banking system we're living in will ruin us too eventually.
Unfortunately, we're yet to find a system that balances private property and business with public property and business that will dance the thin line of social equilibrium. And its mostly because of the human factor. Lets never forget that "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely".

+4 37. Paperman commented 7 years ago on video This Simple Paper Centrifuge Could Revolutionize Global Health

We used to make toys like that out of a button and string when we were kids. The idea is not new but the innovation part is to use that old toy for something practical. So they didn't invented anything new, they just applied a toy principle to a medical need - which by itself is laudable.

(Edit) - well, I commented before I watched the whole video. That serves me right.

+1 38. Paperman commented 7 years ago on video How to open a can of food without any tools

Just find a stone or a bit of asphalt and rub one of the ends of the can until you wear off the ridge along the top. Then gently squeeze the can and the top will open without you spilling the contents. And if you're on a boat, just wait until you get to the shore and look for a stone. Or carry a big stone with you. :P

+2 39. Paperman commented 7 years ago on video This is what is wrong with millennial generations

I'm not a millennial, just a bit older than that. I had a pretty hard life by any standard and yet I find his whole video kind of bullshity. It felt like a really sneaky way to advertise his business, attract young people under the pretense of understanding them while at the same finding excuses for them, shifty the fault to somebody else. Every one of us is, at the end, responsible for our own choices in life. And most of us are idealistic, even the most pragmatic of us. So saying that "life has dealt them a bad card" just because they grew up with their parents finding excuses for them just makes me laugh.
