What's sad is that ms paint didn't change a bit to this day. And neither did any of the rest of default programs that come with the system.

We all think this dude is a tool, but even if he were to look back on it now, he probably thinks he is confident and quirky.

Its real easy to look back 20 or 30 years and scoff at the lame technology, but without that technology you wouldnt have your iPhone or facebook or any of the other PC related comforts we take for granted.
If this hadnt sold, they never would have bothered expanding it, and this would still be the pinnicle of os. Even open source os would have had no reason to improve upon the basic unix/multix systems. This guys turned a command prompt os into a gui. If you want to see what life was like before windows, try using your cmd window instead of clicking icons from now on.
