It would have actually been touching if not for the upbeat background music or the commentators over dramatization of the event. They felt like giving this guy a treat, and that's all.

It's sad that moments of generosity are so rare that they need to be celebrated. Just saying...

#4 I was thinking and expecting something similar. Sportsmanship is when they play fair and admit faults when it happens on accident. Sportsmanship is not letting someone win.

Call it what you will but this was a very kind gesture by the Seahawks who were winning 64 to 10 and decided to let this down syndrome player score on the last play of the last game of his senior year. This was a feel good moment for all involved.
