#8 Yes, it was the G forces. It wasn't much, but the problem is there were negative G's that rush the blood from the body to the brain. They are more likely to cause loss of consciousness (redout) than positive G's, witch work in the opposite way.
There's not much training that helps one cope with negative G's other than repeated exercise witch develops a negative G tolerance.
