#25 A matte LCD IPS panel is very accurate. CRT's were far better than earlier LCDs, but LCDs have really come on, and high end IPS panels are incredibly accurate.

People slag off the National Health Service in the UK... long waiting times etc. But really, it isn't that bad. It is free which is important - anyone can get help, a homeless man to a rich man. There's problems in it, there's issues that the government are always saying they'll fix, but at the end of the day, the NHS in the UK is good enough.

I heard a horror story where some guy in America lost 2 fingers in an accident, and he could only afford to get one finger put back on since he had no insurance and was funding it himself. In the UK, he'd have got both fingers on for free.

I've often thought America's too big for its own good. It's just too big for one solution, too many people, too many diversities etc. Don't get me wrong, the place is awesome and I'd love to tour about, but for one country, too many people for one government to sort out.

#7 Depends on the type of popcorn - your example probably has oil already around it or something.. You can't just stick popcorn in a pot and stick it on a gas and expect it to pop. It needs to have oil, otherwise it'll just get burnt.
